Conduct
The production of a WhiteBoard animation begins with the clear definition of the objectives of the video capsule. Once the subject is identified, a scenario is developed based on a storyboard, penciled scenes with more or less playful elements. Once the drawings are finalized (a drawing every 6 seconds is enough for a rate of 24 images/second), they are animated. The rest of the process is thus as follows:
- Compose the scenes (but sometimes also photos and videos)
- Save voice off
- Adding noise
- Animating drawings
- Matching sound and video
- Include music
- Export and share according to the media (showroom [screen size], website, conference screen, specific social network...)
The steps listed above are not engraved in marble. They take into account the needs and target audience. WhiteBoard video animation must be flexible enough to evolve quickly and be declined according to sub-objectives.
Scenes can be extracted from videos to illustrate a printed document in a classic way.
