The incidence rate is number of cases of Covid-19 over the past week per 100,000 inhabitants. An analysis of this rate by Belgian province makes it possible to quickly realize the spread of a virus in a smaller territory, even if it should not be forgotten that local clusters can rapidly increase this figure. Anyway, and no surprise, the incidence rate in the province of Antwerp reached disturbing levels: 42.7. The Walloon Brabant is 3.9. Antwerp is pointed and slow to take action. The mayor of Antwerp, Bart de Wever, N-va, insurges and points his gaze to Brussels: « We thus have the data quickly, faster than elsewhere in the country. I also worry a lot about other big cities and what they really know about the situation.. »
